Biogradska Gora, also known as the old forest, in the heart of the Bjelasica mountain. Protected since the time of the Kingdom of Montenegro, the center is filled with the beautiful Lake Biograd surrounded by an educative path about 3.5 km long. Favorite animals in Biogradska Gora include roe deer, deer and eagles. Easy hiking around the lake and time to move on.
Moraca river is one of the simpbols of Podgorica city but one of two longest rivers in Montenegro. All our rivers are very cold so swiming is not the option but there is a differrent way of enyoning the wild beauty of the canyon. We will visit the bridge built by the army above Moraca river but also the one above Tara river.
Note: Please take a comfortable sneakers for the optional walking around the lake and on the bridges.
